ISO 3834-2: 2005 Certification
Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials
At May 2016, PERFINOX sees its welding process certificated, according to the ISO 3834-2: 2005 referential.
“The welding processes are a part of the manufacturing process of many products with high demand standards. The welding itself, being a process that cannot be inspected on the manufactured product, must be assured by controlling every phase of the process.
ISO 3834 defines a set of quality requisition specifications allowing to exert the necessary control to assure the quality of the welding processes.
ISO 3834 is divided in 6 parts, which between them includes 3 that define quality requisitions with different degrees of demand; from these, part 2: abridging quality requisitions, is the most demanding of them.
The certification according to this standard allows to proof that the enterprise has the necessary conditions to assure a quality welding process.
The main advantages of the certification according to the ISO 3834-2 standard are:
-Quality evidence during the wending process of the enterprise;
-Independent verification in conformity with the standard, performed by specialists;
-Increase of customer trust levels, in the products supplied by the certified enterprise;
-Acknowledgement of the enterprise’s capacities and organization in welding;
-Distinction in comparison to the competition, based on recognition by an independent organization."
