The PERFIPROCESS concept for concentrate products production may combine several of our own technologies.

The PERFICOOKER Coil Tank, an vacuum cooker with aroma collecting/recovering system, delivers premium products even when handling soft particles. This technology allows low temperature boiling, no oxidation and natural taste on fruit preparations.

The PERFICOOLER Bottom Driven Vessel, an high end batch cooling technology, which offers an extra surface exchange for shorter process times, due to his cooling jackets at bottom, outer cylinder and inner cylinder.

The CIP ready design ensures a repeatable and safe cleaning procedures when using our PERFICLEAN concept, resulting in faster product exchanges and higher process availability.

This week was ended with two intensive days testing the PERFITHERM Aseptic Thermal Processor capabilities when handling high viscosity products.

The scraped surface heat exchanger provide a high exchange surface, gentle handling even with particles or whole pieces, low pressure drops, resulting in high efficiency processes. The hygienic design and state of the art technology deliver a high cleanable system using CIP and virtually no product losses.

There are no limits for process improvement.

Another major wine producer changed the mindset and performed a step forward, by fully automate procedures and cleanings.

PERFINOX attended the challenge and supplied and installed a fully automatic PERFICLEAN CIP Station, a fully automatic wine filtration system and new piping routes equipped with PIG recover system, for automatic feedings and transfers with virtually no product losses.

This will allow our customer to have replicable and controlled process cycles, faster product changes, small product losses and an environmental friendly installation.

At this year event, we will be presenting a self-cleananing inline heating / cooling skid, a ready to work system composed by a #PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, a positive displacement pump for gentle product handling and a cleaning setup with automatic chemical dosing, CIP preparation and launching tank and CIP pump.

PERFIPROCESS Technology Center

Another saucy week at the PERFIPROCESS Technology Center.

Several conventional cooking and steam infusion cooking trials with different sauce recipes were performed, using the PERFICOOKER side driven batch cooking unit.

The batch cooking technologies were combined with inline cooling provided by our scraped surface heat exchanger PERFITHERM and, of course, automatic cleaning validation once the PERFICLEAN CIP unit was called for duty.

​Intensive day at PERFINOX performing a FAT on a fully automatic 4 loop PERFICLEAN CIP Station.

One more challenging project to be installed at place in the next weeks. This big piece of equipment will be dismantled and packed for shipment shortly.

The Clean-in-Place unit will serve a new plant on a major dairy products producer from northern Europe.

PERFICOOKER Fry & Cooking Unit

The PERFICOOKER Fry & Cooking Unit, a PERFIPROCESS solution for ready meal components.

Unit developed for processing finger food fillings and other ready meal components, both with meat or just vegetable.

Frying is performed using the high pressure steam bottom jacket, together with the round type side driven agitator, simulating wok movements during stir fry and delivering the preparation just like home made.

The cooking can be performed either using steam jackets at the body or using OAL steam infusion for faster process times.

Unit is equipped with circumferential piston pump for gentle handling product with pieces during recirculation and discharge, and can be fitted with powder dispersing system, high shear homogenizer and/or emulsifier.

The system is delivered as a CIP ready setup, including CIP loop, valves, pump and software.

The PERFICOOKER Top Driven Vacuum Tank

One of the multiple cooking technologies available at the PERFIPROCESS range of machinery.

The unit is fitted with anchor agitator with scrapers, refractometer, vacuum setup with liquid ring vacuum pump and condenser, discharge pump and CIP setup for automatic cleaning.

The PERFINOX solution using the PERFIPROCESS range of machinery consists in one PERFITECH All-in-One batch system, were all the ingredients are automatically dosed, mixed and homogenized.

The cooking process is performed by heating jacket and/or direct steam infusion. The vessel uses the bottom driven technology resulting in extra exchange surface and can be settled up to allow half batches without risk of burnt taste.

The cooling process is performed inline using the PERFITHERM Scrapped Surface Heat Exchanger and optionally for shorter process times, using the PERFITECH jackets.

The cleaning process is done fully automatically using a PERFICLEAN CIP station.

First Step Pasteurizing

First step pasteurizing skid for baby food using a PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, PFTM20 with 2.0m2 of exchange surface.

The system receives the puree from the processing zone, heating up and feeding the filling line.
After production, the product is recovered in full using a PIG system, scraping the pipe and pushing the product to the filling buffer.

The skid is delivered CIP ready, to work combined with the customer setup.

The

New Aseptic Cooling Station

Aseptic Cooling Station ready for shipment!

The cooling unit composed by a
PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger and Aseptic Buffer Tank will serve a production line for concentrate sauces, where a PERFICOOKER cooking and reduction unit are already installed.

The unit will do the inline product cooling, buffering and feeding to the filling units. Different destinations can be selected manually, via swing bend panel.

The complete system will be integrated with a
PERFICLEAN CIP cleaning system for fully automatic and safe cleanable, as all the systems developed by PERFINOX.

Project Conclusion | Unit for Production of Pastry Cream

We were delighted to announce the completion of another challenging project!
Responding to an ambitious producer from the bakery industry, the challenge was to develop and build a bakery cream production unit, yielding up to 1.000 kg / hour.
 
With a limited space and the need to work continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with hygienic guarantees, the PERFINOX Group accepted the challenge, put the "hands-on-the-go" and created a completely automatic unit, practically without operator intervention.
 
Beyond to the process and production area, consisting on cooking and cooling reactors, the new unit was equipped with a fully automatic Cleaning System (CIP) and a fully automatic dosing and mixing system, for solid and liquid ingredients.
 
The PERFINOX Group scope were the following areas:
  •  Addition of automatic liquid ingredients (water, milk and egg products)
  • Incorporation and Homogenization of solid ingredients
  • Cream cooking

  • Product feeding to filling system

We are proud to announce the conclusion of ambitious project!
This time, the challenge comes from one of the leading producers of alcoholic beverages and the objective was the development, execution, and installation of a new automatic process unit, for production of effervescent alcoholic beverages.
