​PERFINOX introducing new technologies to the Food Industry

We start 2021 supplying a Scraped Surface Thermal Processor for a major fruit preparations producer in Central Europe.
 
High quality product and gentle particle handling is a must, so unit is equipped with two PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchangers (SSHE) granting a total exchange surface of 9m2. The PERFITHERM Thermal Processor has also the advantage of full product recover, from the admission to the discharge, by equipping it with PIG system for product push and recover.
 
Additionally, PERFINOX will supply a sterile filling station and a SIP station for containers, as well the fully integration with costumer process machinery. A smart and compact solution for high demand process on a very small footprint.

Our engineering team is glad to show once more our capabilities to adapt and fit the customer requirements.

PERFICOOKER Fry & Cooking Unit

The PERFICOOKER Fry & Cooking Unit, a PERFIPROCESS solution for ready meal components.

Unit developed for processing finger food fillings and other ready meal components, both with meat or just vegetable.

Frying is performed using the high pressure steam bottom jacket, together with the round type side driven agitator, simulating wok movements during stir fry and delivering the preparation just like home made.

The cooking can be performed either using steam jackets at the body or using OAL steam infusion for faster process times.

Unit is equipped with circumferential piston pump for gentle handling product with pieces during recirculation and discharge, and can be fitted with powder dispersing system, high shear homogenizer and/or emulsifier.

The system is delivered as a CIP ready setup, including CIP loop, valves, pump and software.

Another major wine producer is changing the mindset and performing the step forward, by fully automate procedures and cleanings.

PERFINOX attended the challenge and will supply and install a fully automatic PERFICLEAN CIP Station, a fully automatic wine filtration system and new piping routes equipped with PIG recover system, for automatic feedings and transfers with virtually no product losses.

This will allow our customer to have replicable and controlled process cycles, faster product changes, small product losses and an environmental friendly installation.

PERFITHERM Thermal Processor

The PERFITHERM Thermal Processor, the PERFIPROCESS solution for handling high viscous products.

The scraped surface heat exchanger provide a high exchange surface, gentle handling even with particles or whole pieces, low pressure drops, resulting in high efficiency processes.

The PERFICOOKER Top Driven Vacuum Tank

The unit is fitted with anchor agitator with scrapers, refractometer, vacuum setup with liquid ring vacuum pump and condenser, discharge pump and CIP setup for automatic cleaning.

One Hot & Cold Processing for Sauces, Emulsions and Dippings installation comissioned and ready to service.

The setup is composed by one PERFITECH 2000, all-in-one version for hot and cold processing, using the extra exchange surface from the bottom driven reactor jacket.
The system includes process technologies such as direct steam injection, vaccum, high shear homogeneizer, powder disperser system among other key tools.

When hot processing, a PERFITHERM scraped surface heat exchanger can be used to cool down the product inline for shorter process times.

The system provides a high capacity production rate for both hot and cold process demands, on a small footprint, where all the media and ingredient are managed automatically.

The PERFIPROCESS Pastry Cream Production Concept

The PERFINOX solution using the PERFIPROCESS range of machinery consists in one PERFITECH All-in-One batch system, were all the ingredients are automatically dosed, mixed and homogenized.

The cooking process is performed by heating jacket and/or direct steam infusion. The vessel uses the bottom driven technology resulting in extra exchange surface and can be settled up to allow half batches without risk of burnt taste.

The cooling process is performed inline using the PERFITHERM Scrapped Surface Heat Exchanger and optionally for shorter process times, using the PERFITECH jackets.

The cleaning process is done fully automatically using a PERFICLEAN CIP station.

A full package using our technology that can be fitted with several options or even other process machines for different products and applications. A smart and versatile solution developed for high demanding customer.

First Step Pasteurizing

First step pasteurizing skid for baby food using a PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, PFTM20 with 2.0m2 of exchange surface.

The system receives the puree from the processing zone, heating up and feeding the filling line.
After production, the product is recovered in full using a PIG system, scraping the pipe and pushing the product to the filling buffer.

The skid is delivered CIP ready, to work combined with the customer setup.

A PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger model 10 tested and ready for shipment.

The PFTM10 is second smallest model and provides 1.0 m2 of exchange surface. It will be used for a heating application with fruit preparations.

The PERFITHERM range goes from 0.5m2 to 7.0m2 and can be used on most of the applications with or without product pieces, performing a gentle handling and low pressure drops on a very small footprint.

​A new PERFICOOKER unit installed and ready for commissioning. 

The vacuum processing system with aroma collecting/recovering will be producing concentrate food ingredients. 
The unit is equipped with a high efficiency powder incorporation system, vacuum system with condenser, flowmeters, process controls and pumping systems. 

The CIP ready concept was applied and the unit will work together with PERFITHERM aseptic cooling system, both cleaned by a PERFICLEAN, Cleaning in Place the complete line.

Today would be the 3rd and last day of #Foodex Exhibition at Birmingham UK.

At this year event, we would be presenting a self-cleanable #inline #heating #skid, a ready to work system composed by a #PERFITHERM Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger, a positive displacement pump for gentle product handling and a #cleaning setup with automatic chemical dosing, #CIP preparation and launching tank and CIP pump.

This system is delivered in a plug-and-play philosophy, self-controlled and monitored by its own HMI.

Product Buffering as Process Improvement

PERFINOX can develop and install customized buffering systems for product feeding into the fillers, depending on the product specs, installation configuration and available space.

We are delivering 3 double sets of customized filler feeding buffers for products with #vegetable and meat pieces. The sets will be supplied assembled on a frame to be installed above the filler line.

The sets are composed by the heated buffer tanks with agitator for product maintenance, circumferential piston pump for “gentle “handling and pieces respect at product discharge, CIP setup, and PIG reception for total product recovery.

A Cooling Station for bolognese sauce with meat pieces, ready to be shipped.

The system counts with a
